Best work from home mice in 2022

With remote work and work from home becoming very popular in recent years, it’s essential to have good tools to do your job. If you use a computer of any kind for your work, your keyboard, mouse, headset, monitor, and computer are your tools. All the mice on this list are wireless for a reason, there are very few reasons not to get a wireless mouse. They are built better, with better connectivity and battery life than the mice of the before time, the long long ago.

Logitech MX Master 3S Wireless

Shhhhh
  • Really, really quiet

  • Horizontal scroll wheel goes brrrrr

  • Ergonomic – still looks like a mouse

  • Built-in battery

  • The “S” stands for “silent”, shhh, the click sounds are both quiet (up to 90% less click noise) and satisfying to press
  • Silent switches are great for your own sanity (or those around you)
  • Ergonomic without being weird about it
  • A Super convenient horizontal scroll wheel, really it will change your life if you work with photos, videos, or Excel
  • Bluetooth (low energy, no confirmation on version) or Logi Bolt receiver (USB dongle) to keep your area tidy and easy to put away if you are into that sort of thing
  • USB-C for charging/wired use, as all things should be
  • Flow software to control, copy, and paste between Operating Systems like your laptop and desktop PC
  • 8K DPI Sensor to track on most household surfaces so that you can be mobile
  • Super long battery life (rechargeable)
  • The scroll wheel is really scrolly (~1000 lines per second if you want), you can scroll through the Terms & Conditions you totally read in no time

SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless

Robust with a touch of flair
  • PixArt Sensor

  • Classy & sassy (with RGB)

  • 1-2 AAA Batteries

  • “Year-long” battery life

  • “Year-long battery life (400+ hours)” thanks to being very power efficient
  • Bluetooth 5.0 or wireless via dongle
  • Mostly ambidextrous
  • Long-lasting mechanical switches (not silent, just in case that matters to you)
  • Sleek, understated design with the option to make it sassy with the one RGB light in the mouse wheel
  • Takes 1-2 AAA batteries (yes, it can work with one, but don’t expect the “year-long batter life”) (comes with mouse)
  • Built from quality materials for durability and feel
  • Quality PixArt sensor

Logitech M185 Wireless

Small and simple
  • Compact

  • Affordable

  • 1 AA Battery

  • Simple

  • “12-month” battery life from a single AA battery. Set it and forget it! … for a year
  • Super compact and light
  • Ambidextrous
  • I’ve used this mouse before, even with my monster hands it was decently comfortable in a claw grip. If you have smaller hands, this is the mouse for you!
  • Simple. No extra buttons, no bells or whistles, just a solid mouse for pointing and clicking
  • Really not much else to say about this little buddy of a mouse, it’s minimalistic and a great value

The Infinite Forbidden Set Stats

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Infinite Forbidden launched in the TCG on July 19, 2024. I’ve been excited for this set since its announcement because of the nostalgia-bait of Exodia. As a core set, it’s full of new cards, strategies, and archetypes. The highly anticipated Fiendsmith makes its TCG debut just in time for the Yu-Gi-Oh! NAWCQ. Exodia, White Forest, and Gimmick Puppet get support, and a new TCG-exclusive archetype called Mimighoul makes its debut.

The haptic feedback in Beat Saber just stopped working. I knew it wasn’t the controller since vibrations were working outside of Steam or Beat Saber. I didn’t realize how much the haptic feedback contributed to VR immersion, but wow, did I miss it.
